Synopsis

Learn to recite the Qur’an fluidly in this intermediate-beginner course for new readers to learn to recite correctly and confidently!

Reading the Qur'an correctly and fluently is an art in itself. Pronouncing the sacred words correctly is a responsibility for all readers, as wrong pronunciations could result in different meanings.

Some of us learnt to read the Qur'an at a basic level, but never received proper tutelage to ensure that we read the Qur'an correctly. To progress on as regular readers, it is encouraged that we seek professional guidance to ensure that we are on the right path.

This course has been created to address this potential issue, especially amongst new readers. An intermediate-beginner course, Qur'an for Beginners Part 2 is designed to enhance your Qur'an recitation skills so that you can read the Qur'an fluidly, correctly and confidently!

This course is also open to all adults, young and old, whether you are new to reading the Qur'an, or a long-term reader who may not have received proper guidance in reading the Qur'an properly when they were young; who are not able to read fluidly; or face difficulty in reading correctly.

Ustadh Abla, is an experienced Moroccan native Arabic speaker specialised in working with adult learners, and understand the challenges that adult readers face in reading the Qur'an, especially amongst new readers, and those who never received the necessary guidance to progress in their Qur'an reading.

This course will be the Qur'an reading coaching course that will help you attain a higher level of fluency in your Qur'an reading skills.

This short, but intensive course will be conducted over 8 lessons.

At the end of the course, students will Insha'Allah be able to read the Qur'an more fluently, and with greater confidence and continue to stride forward in the fulfilling and rewarding habit of lifelong reading of the Holy Qur’an, Insha'Allah.

Course Requirements

This course is open to all students, aged 15 and above. Students must be able to read the Qur'an at a basic level.

About the Teacher

Ustadh Mohamed Abla was born in Morocco and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Islamic Law) from Hassan II Mohammedia University in Morocco. He is now a Singapore citizen and an accredited Asatizah (teacher) certified by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore and the Asatizah Recognition Board. He spent 9 years in Malaysia’s Pusat Ulumuddin in Kedah, Malaysia as an Arabic language teacher and Vice-Principal. He subsequently taught in Singapore for several years at Masjid Darulmakmur & Masjid En-Naeem, before joining SimplyIslam.sg in 2007 as its Arabic Language Consultant and Islamic Architecture Consultant. He also conducts regular interpretation assignments involving Arab trainees from Qatar, Bahrain, etc. While Arabic is his native language, he is also proficient with English and Malay. He is now a freelance Qur’an Teacher and has been teaching it for 5 years. He is the author of the popular “24HR Iqra’” book and has successfully organised numerous 24HR Qur’an courses. To date, more than 2000 participants has benefited from his method.
